Yes, as long as both vehicles are registered either at DVLA or on the Northern Ireland register. Similarly, you can transfer a GB registration number to a vehicle registered in Northern Ireland. In either case the vehicles must meet the conditions of the transfer scheme.

Northern Ireland registration numbers held on V750(NI) certificates cannot be assigned directly to vehicles registered with us. They must be assigned first to vehicles registered in Northern Ireland.
